Princess Royal and King Edward VII as Prince of Wales. A novelty print,
one of a series of prints which previously had integrated movable
flaps. View of a pear, which contains a scene of Victoria, Princess
Royal and King Edward VII as Prince of Wales. The two infants are
pictured in gowns with lace caps, with the Princess Royal leaning over
the sleeping figure of the Prince of Wales.
Previously, the print would
have had a movable flap, completing the image of the pear which would be
lifted to reveal the portraits of the Prince and Princess.
