I once spoke with a woman on her 65th birthday.
She told me the number one thing she is most proud of is not having become a jaded and cynical old person- because it is just so darned easy to become that way as you get older.
I am naturally not that way when it comes to thinking about the world, but it's been extra helpful to try and appreciate all I have and not take things for granted.
