Tocario

Tocharian is an extinct branch of the Indo-European language family which was spoken in oases on the northern edge of the Tarim Basin, an area which is now part of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China. Fragments of manuscripts and other writing in the Tocharian script dating from between the 6th and 8th centuries AD were discovered there in the early 20th century. (...)

El Tocario es una rama extinta de la familia lingüística indoeuropea hablada en los oasis del extremo norte de la cuenca del Tarim, un área  que ahora es parte de la Región Autónoma Uigur de Xinjiang,  en China. Los fragmentos de manuscritos y demás  atributos  de la escritura  Tocario datan  de 6 /u 8 siglos antes de Cristo y  fueron descubiertos en, ese lugar, en el siglo 20. (...)
