Muchas mujeres han pasado por la experiencia de encontrar “al amor de su vida”. Se trata de un hombre seductor, comprensivo, amable y que entiende lo que le pasa y siente.

Todo transcurre como un sueño, y al poco tiempo de conocerse, ya están viviendo juntos. Rápidamente “el encanto se termina”, y con ello también la dulzura del sujeto del cual la mujer se había enamorado.

 ¿Cuándo se rompe el idilio?

Todo se termina cuando comienza a aparecer la personalidad real del individuo, “el gigoló estafador”, que es totalmente distinto a lo que mostró en un primer momento –dulce y encantador–, lo que utilizó con el único fin de que la mujer se enamore y confíe en él para poder tener el control sobre ella y poder estafarla económicamente. 

Algunas de las características más significativas que describen la personalidad de estos individuos son:

► Es manipulador: utiliza diferentes estrategias como victimizarse, criticar, amenazar y hacer sentir culpable al otro para poder conseguir lo que quiere.

► Mentiroso: sabiendo que lo que dice es falso, resulta convincente, por eso espera que los otros le crean.

► Fascinación: son de generar encanto sobre los demás, lo cual lo aprovechan para manipular a la víctima de turno.

► Es seductor: utiliza estas armas con el fin de influir en el otro para modificar su opinión y o comportamiento para su propio beneficio. 

► Intuición: pueden percibir las necesidades del otro, con el fin de tener el control de la víctima y estafarla económicamente.

 ¿Se arrepienten de sus actos?

El “gigoló estafador” no siente culpa ni arrepentimiento de lo que hace. Al reducir al otro al lugar de cosa, no se involucra afectivamente, lo que lo habilita para realizar cualquier acto atroz, sin culpa. Es un error creer que el psicópata vaya a pensar en el otro, ya que las conductas de humillación y hostigamiento salen solas, de manera espontánea. En lo único que piensa es en satisfacer sus propias necesidades.

Se trata de una personalidad diferente, que tiene una lógica interna de funcionamiento distinta de la mayoría de las personas. 

Es consciente de las acciones que realiza, ya que están dirigidas a cumplir su propio plan.

¿Cómo son sus víctimas?

Por lo general son mujeres que realizan elecciones negativas, producto de emociones disfuncionales, –soledad, vacío, miedo al abandono–, además de interpretaciones erróneas que la persona hace de la realidad. Esto la lleva a elegir parejas desde “su mundo interior”, y en consecuencia, no le permite realizar una evaluación objetiva acerca de cómo es el otro y tampoco puede escuchar lo que los amigos y familiares le dicen acerca de por qué no le conviene la nueva pareja.

Algunas de las características que presentan las mujeres que establecen relaciones patológicas son: baja autoestima, dependencia emocional y sensación de soledad.

Muchas mujeres no pueden desprenderse de parejas que las hacen sufrir y que además las estafan económicamente, y si bien dicha relación les hace mal, es más tolerable dicho sufrimiento que el sentimiento de soledad y abandono por estar sin pareja. 

Estas mujeres padecen generalmente de dependencia emocional, situación que las lleva a tolerar distintas humillaciones, por no poder estar solas.
