The Nephilim

The Nephilim /ˈnɛfɪˌlɪm/ (Hebrew: נְפִילִים‎) 

were the offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men" 

before the Deluge, according to Genesis 6:1-4 of the Bible.
